About Us
Surveillance Technologies (STL) is a New Zealand trade distributor of video surveillance, access control, intrusion and perimeter security products. We supply security installers, integrators and resellers across the country from our base in Albany, Auckland.
How we started
STL began in 2008, when Graham and Robert turned a redundancy into an opportunity and started their own business, initially representing Dedicated Micros in New Zealand. Since then STL has grown into a multi-brand distributor, and in 2021 Aritech appointed STL as its New Zealand distributor for Tecom.

- Avigilon, Pelco and Halo by Motorola Solutions: video surveillance, video management and smart sensors
- Aritech: Tecom access control and intrusion, TruVision CCTV, and Aritech and Sentrol detection
- Southwest Microwave: INTREPID perimeter fence detection
- HID, Assa Abloy, BTicino by Legrand, Airkey and Trojan: credentials, locking, intercom, wireless and door hardware

We've run STL on the same principles since day one: honesty and integrity. As a small team we offer personal service, backed by Product Champions with deep sales and technical knowledge of the brands they look after. We can help from initial system design right through to commissioning.
