This unit converts the Challenger LAN to Optical Fibre. One or two optical fibre connections can be used with this interface.
When using one optical fibre connection, the TS0896 has the ability to be multi-dropped; when using two fibres, the TS0896 must be wired in a 'point to point' configuration.
